First Aid, CPR & AED, Choking and Epi Pen. Emergency Medical takes up where the active shooter defense training leaves off. After we ensure that a dangerous scene is safe for us and others to operate within, we will begin life saving measures for gunshot wounds, stabbings, other injuries and even cardiac arrest. We will assess patients for blood circulation issues, airway problems, and breathing complications and how to respond with tourniquets, pressure dressings, C.P.R., chest seals and emergency blankets. We will also cover A.E.D. operation and deployment.
